“Mikael was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and took the time to offer suggestions for our onward journey. The food at the restaurant was delicious and one of the best meals I've ever eaten - the chef was friendly and explained the menu in both French and English and created a delicious 4 course meal for us. It's a shame we only had a single night, but we'll just have to return.”

“This is an amazing place, a fantastic location.
A really nicely renovated old farm house.
The rooms are so comfortable, & tastefully finished, probably some of the best we have stayed in.
The food was simple, but such good quality.
The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
They need a six star rating 😉👍

“Lovely rural setting. Mikael, the host was especially helpful when we were leaving after 3 nights. We had a flat car battery and he came to our aid with his charging leads. He didn’t hesitate to help even though he had a particularly busy day ahead. Many thanks. ”

“Came to visit the Viaduc de Millau on our way to southern France. Had a one night stopover at Les Caselles. Very friendly host, super nice room in a restored once-sheep stable. We chose to follow the in-house dinner concept. Very nice dinner, good atmosphere and at €30 per adult it was very good value. Got some good tips for our further travel southwards. All in all a very nice way to spend an evening/night or a weekend in the hills/mountains outside Millau. ”

“Exceptional - friendly, welcoming staff that made us all feel at home. Unique location with great views, quiet rooms and a well-maintained indoor pool. Food prepared and presented by Édith was superb and Mikael and team are excellent hosts. We'll definitely stop by in the future!”

“Expedia and Les Castelles need to make the pool and spa usage very clear in the booking email. There was no mention of charging to use sauna or hot tub or when and if it could be used. ”
